Mitch Winehouse got this card from Amy on Valentine’s Day 2003 while she was in Miami working on her album Frank.
The Rolling Stones on the infamous flatbed truck performance on 5th Ave NYC to announce the 1975 Tour of The Americas
Radio DJ: “…..Eh, Dave Herman is here….and here comes the truck now into view….and they’re going to be….Yep, they are! There’s Mick Jagger…and The Stones….They’re all here! Now YOU hear the sound! Let’s pick it up!”
“Alright, the truck is pulling away. And we’re being crushed! Literally crushed! Mick Jagger has just thrown out the announcement of the tour…”
“The Rolling Stones playing on Fifth Avenue….on Fifth Avenue!”
“The Rolling Stones playing on Fifth Avenue….and did you notice who the new member was? I think that’s most significant. Ron Wood was on guitar….Now let’s go back to Pete in the studio.”
Do you reckon harry will come oh my god
i wouldnt be surprised if he does!!! knowing johnny he’ll probably make best mates with him at the end of the night and invite him to his own wedding
Also my cousin was telling me that one of her friends was at a party with lily allen and apparently she was doing lines while pregnant which wouldnt surprise me at all
In other news my cousin is going to poppy delevingne’s wedding
this is so fucked up i cant believe it
just so unbelievably disrespectful????? id be embarrassed if a news team from my country did that
that actually annoys me so much and i understand that not all americans are like that but you can’t get sensitive when i talk shit on america after an american news anchor makes such a disrespectful and ignorant remark about something so important and established to my country’s indigenous population
God americans can be so fucking ignorant do they ever not think about themselves
I hate it when foreigners disrespect maori culture and call it savage and uncivilised and its like bro you dont know shit
So CNN just showed a report on the royal visit to New Zealand, which not only actively mocked the cultural traditions of the Maori, comparing the haka to the mating dance of the emu, but also denigrated the cultural traditions of many other groups as being ‘native’ and generally silly. It’s this kind of shoddy journalism and blatant racism that perpetuates an idea of multiculturalism being some kind of childish joke and trivialises the identity of 15% of NZ’s population. If you want to do something about it, there is a complaint here, and the petition associated with it here. .
